Why Resistance Training is Better for Weight Loss than Aerobics

By adding resistance training to your weight loss program, you can lose considerably more weight and do it a lot faster. It is a bit of an effort, but I believe you will find it well worth it. Lifting weights helps to burn body fat off quicker than aerobic exercise. Although aerobic exercise will burn more calories during the time you are doing it, weightlifting gives additional benefits that aerobic exercise does not!

After resistance training your muscles need to repair themselves and in doing so, this process burns even more calories. You are getting the benefit of the calories that are burned off during the exercise combined with the calories that are getting burned as the muscles are getting repaired.

The other benefit obtained by weightlifting and resistance exercise is the fact that you are building muscle mass. Muscle burns fat and by building up your muscle mass you are creating a fat burning machine that will help use up excess body fat throughout the day. This is why people who supplement their weight loss programs with suitable resistance training will reduce fat and get considerably better results in less time.

Additionally, when you are dieting your metabolism tends to slow down. Weight training helps you increase your metabolism. When you increase your metabolism you are burning more calories and losing weight faster.  The other positive effect is the endorphins that are released. These are chemicals that keep you feeling good and happy. You don’t have to lift excessive weights for this to work; even a light resistance training will be an added benefit to your weight-loss program.

Do You Eat Foods Low in Nutritional Value?

The biggest problem with most people gaining weight is due to the quantity of food they consume. That sounds obvious but you

need to understand that there is often a good reason why some people feel the need to consume larger quantities of food than others and in

doing so become overweight. It all relates to the types of foods that we eat and their nutritional value. If you eat foods that are low in

nutritional value they will leave you wanting more because they haven’t delivered the nutrients required to supply you with the energy you

need and they haven’t satisfied your appetite. They have left you feeling hungry and it is human nature to eat more food until that hunger goes

away. If you were to eat the right foods your nutritional needs would be met and you wouldn’t feel hungry. If you didn’t feel hungry you

wouldn’t continue to eat and that in turn would ensure that you didn’t gain excess weight. You can understand now why fast foods are

responsible for the high incidence of weight problems due to the simple fact that they aren’t delivering the essential nutrients that the body

needs. By making some simple changes to the foods that we eat and replacing those foods that are low in nutrition with more appropriate foods

for healthy living it becomes a lot easier to maintain a good bodyweight and proper fat loss without having the burden of hunger to contend

with. The problem with most diets is the fact that they are just too hard to maintain for any amount of time and this shouldn’t be the situation

as hunger is not supposed to be a part of a balanced healthy lifestyle. Good food in good quantities will help you to maintain a healthy

bodyweight and you will feel satisfiedafter your meals.

Exactly Why Have You Failed To Lose Weight & Keep It Off?

Welcome to My Rapid Fat Loss,

The reasons you have failed to lose weight and to keep it off is because you have been eating the wrong types of foods and the wrong types of calories at the wrong times of day.

It almost sounds to easy to even be believable, but in fact, that’s all there is to it. This is exactly what the health and dieting industry either ignores or simply don’t know. It is obvious that most diets can not and do not work.

This is because they don’t follow the simple rules of safe and effective fat loss. The majority of diets scew up your metabolism, damage your liver, harm your digestive system and destroy your energy level. This includes all the usual fad diets; suchas, low calorie diets, low fat diets, high protein diets and the list goes on.
